How the resource library is organised
- By phase — EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4, KS5.
- By subject — Maths, English, Science, and cross-curricular.
- By purpose — starter/retrieval, main teaching, oracy, revision, homework, intervention.
- By exam board — AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Eduqas where relevant.
What's actually in the library
- Oracy activities — talk tasks, sentence stems, debate frameworks.
- Retrieval quizzes — low-stakes recall sets across the curriculum.
- GCSE revision packs — specification-mapped Foundation and Higher for maths and English.
- Reading fluency — KS1–KS3 intervention plans and assessment templates.
- EYFS observation prompts — Development Matters-aligned.
- LoftTick smart marking — mark-scheme-accurate feedback on extended writing.
What makes a Learning Loft resource different
- Classroom-tested. Every resource has been used with a real class before it's published.
- UK curriculum first. No US spellings, no US exam framing.
- Fits the mark scheme. Where an exam board is involved, we cite the AOs.
- Editable. Word and Google Docs, so you own it once you've adapted it.
- Named authorship. Every resource lists the teacher who built it — no anonymous filler.
Getting the most from the library
Combine resources with the platform tools they were designed alongside: retrieval quizzes plug into LoftTest, oracy activities into LoftTalk, and revision packs with LoftTrack for QLA follow-up. The whole point of one platform is that a resource, a pupil's mark and the next-step teaching plan all sit in the same place.
