Who this is for
Bahrain's British-curriculum schools are concentrated around Manama, Riffa and Saar, serving both Bahraini families and a long-established expatriate community. Cohorts are smaller than in the UAE, so option subjects at GCSE and A-Level are sometimes taught in mixed or very small groups — one of the most common reasons families look for additional subject teaching.
Why families in Bahrain come to us
- Small sixth-form cohorts where a chosen A-Level subject is taught in a combined or minimal group
- Families relocating mid-course and needing to close gaps in a two-year IGCSE programme
- Pupils planning a move into UK schooling or UK university applications
- Detailed feedback on extended writing, which small departments cannot always resource
Qualifications we support
Pearson Edexcel International GCSE and Cambridge IGCSE are the usual Year 10–11 routes, with Pearson and Cambridge International A-Levels at sixth form. We match the tutor to the specification the school actually teaches, including set texts and option topics.

Time zones and scheduling
Bahrain runs on UTC+3 all year with no daylight saving, so your slot stays fixed while UK clocks change.
Late-afternoon and early-evening sessions in Bahrain generally sit within the UK working day, which means access to teachers who are teaching that specification during term rather than only those free late at night.
Sessions are booked as a fixed weekly slot wherever possible, so the appointment becomes part of the week rather than something renegotiated every Sunday. If a school trip or a family holiday gets in the way, the slot can be moved.
How the sessions work
- Tell us the school, board and year group. That is what determines the right tutor — not a general subject label.
- Free 15-minute discovery call. We check the match before you pay for anything.
- Live sessions in LoftClass. Our own virtual classroom, built for teaching rather than adapted from business video-conferencing: shared whiteboard, document sharing, recordings.
- A short written summary after each session so parents in a different time zone still know what was covered and what to practise.

Who teaches the sessions
Every tutor is a UK-qualified, DBS-checked teacher with classroom experience of the specification they teach. We do not recruit undergraduates, and we do not claim accreditations, awards or partnerships we do not hold. Learning Loft is a UK company; all tuition is delivered online from the UK.
