Who this is for
Kuwait has a well-established group of British-curriculum schools in and around Kuwait City, Salmiya and Hawally, many serving families who move between the UK, the Gulf and beyond. The school week runs Sunday to Thursday, so Friday and Saturday are the local weekend — worth knowing when you choose a recurring slot.
Why families in Kuwait come to us
- Sunday-to-Thursday school weeks making a fixed UK-time slot easier to protect than an ad-hoc arrangement
- Mid-course arrivals from other curricula catching up on IGCSE content
- Year 11 and Year 13 past-paper and exam-technique coaching before the summer series
- Families keeping a UK sixth-form or university route open
Qualifications we support
Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE dominate Year 10–11, with international A-Levels at sixth form. Some schools also run domestic AQA GCSE specifications for particular subjects.

Time zones and scheduling
Kuwait is UTC+3 all year with no daylight saving — three hours ahead of the UK in winter, two in British Summer Time.
Most families choose a late-afternoon or early-evening slot in Kuwait time, which lands inside a UK tutor's working day.
Sessions are booked as a fixed weekly slot wherever possible, so the appointment becomes part of the week rather than something renegotiated every Sunday. If a school trip or a family holiday gets in the way, the slot can be moved.
How the sessions work
- Tell us the school, board and year group. That is what determines the right tutor — not a general subject label.
- Free 15-minute discovery call. We check the match before you pay for anything.
- Live sessions in LoftClass. Our own virtual classroom, built for teaching rather than adapted from business video-conferencing: shared whiteboard, document sharing, recordings.
- A short written summary after each session so parents in a different time zone still know what was covered and what to practise.

Who teaches the sessions
Every tutor is a UK-qualified, DBS-checked teacher with classroom experience of the specification they teach. We do not recruit undergraduates, and we do not claim accreditations, awards or partnerships we do not hold. Learning Loft is a UK company; all tuition is delivered online from the UK.
