Who this is for
British-curriculum provision in Oman is centred on Muscat, with a smaller number of schools serving Sohar and Salalah. Choice is narrower than in Dubai or Doha, so families outside Muscat in particular often use online teaching to reach subject specialists who are not available locally.
Why families in Oman come to us
- Limited local availability of subject specialists, especially outside Muscat
- Sixth formers taking an A-Level their school cannot resource in depth
- Families returning to UK schooling and needing to align with domestic expectations
- Structured past-paper practice ahead of the summer examination series
Qualifications we support
Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE are the common Year 10–11 routes, with Cambridge and Pearson International A-Levels at sixth form. We support these British-curriculum routes rather than claiming coverage of every local alternative.

Time zones and scheduling
Oman is UTC+4 all year, so a local evening slot stays consistent while the UK moves in and out of British Summer Time.
Late-afternoon and early-evening sessions in Oman often fall within the UK working day, giving access to teachers who are in classrooms with that specification during term time.
Sessions are booked as a fixed weekly slot wherever possible, so the appointment becomes part of the week rather than something renegotiated every Sunday. If a school trip or a family holiday gets in the way, the slot can be moved.
How the sessions work
- Tell us the school, board and year group. That is what determines the right tutor — not a general subject label.
- Free 15-minute discovery call. We check the match before you pay for anything.
- Live sessions in LoftClass. Our own virtual classroom, built for teaching rather than adapted from business video-conferencing: shared whiteboard, document sharing, recordings.
- A short written summary after each session so parents in a different time zone still know what was covered and what to practise.

Who teaches the sessions
Every tutor is a UK-qualified, DBS-checked teacher with classroom experience of the specification they teach. We do not recruit undergraduates, and we do not claim accreditations, awards or partnerships we do not hold. Learning Loft is a UK company; all tuition is delivered online from the UK.
