Who this is for
Abu Dhabi's British schools are spread across the island, Khalifa City and Al Reem, and are regulated by ADEK. Many serve long-term expatriate and Emirati families whose children sit British qualifications and then apply to UK universities, so continuity across Years 10–13 matters more here than short-term exam cramming.
Why families in Abu Dhabi come to us
- Long-term academic planning from Year 9 through to UK university applications
- Support with extended writing and essay structure in English, History and Psychology
- Maths and Science pupils moving between Cambridge and Edexcel routes after a school change
- Families wanting a consistent tutor across several years rather than a rotating agency roster
Qualifications we support
A mix of Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE, with Cambridge International A-Levels common at sixth form. Some schools also enter pupils for domestic UK GCSEs. We confirm the board before the first session.

Time zones and scheduling
Abu Dhabi is UTC+4 year-round, so a fixed weekly slot never drifts when UK clocks change.
Popular slots run 16:30–20:30 local time, giving pupils an hour to decompress after school before the session starts.
Sessions are booked as a fixed weekly slot wherever possible, so the appointment becomes part of the week rather than something renegotiated every Sunday. If a school trip or a family holiday gets in the way, the slot can be moved.
How the sessions work
- Tell us the school, board and year group. That is what determines the right tutor — not a general subject label.
- Free 15-minute discovery call. We check the match before you pay for anything.
- Live sessions in LoftClass. Our own virtual classroom, built for teaching rather than adapted from business video-conferencing: shared whiteboard, document sharing, recordings.
- A short written summary after each session so parents in a different time zone still know what was covered and what to practise.

Tell us your child's age, curriculum, country and local availability and we'll match you with the right UK-based teacher.
Who teaches the sessions
Every tutor is a UK-qualified, DBS-checked teacher with classroom experience of the specification they teach. We do not recruit undergraduates, and we do not claim accreditations, awards or partnerships we do not hold. Learning Loft is a UK company; all tuition is delivered online from the UK.
